So it is Friday which means time for my weekly reflection. I do this each week so it can be my slice this Friday.
5 Smiles 🙂 1. Wrote for the first 8 days of the challenge . 2. Two sunny, 70 degree days in the beginning of March (uncommon for Upstate NY) 3. Surprising a friend for her 50th birthday 4. Booking lodging for summer vacation to 2 National Parks 5. stocking my Free Little Library with books with green spines or titles for Reading of the Green in March
4 Words to Describe the Week: 1. Springy 2. creative 3. busy 4. smooth
3 Weekend Plans: 1. Seeing a BPO concert focusing on music by Genesis and Phil Collins 2. Finishing my library book that is due on Monday 3. Attend a Pierogi Fest for yummy Polish food
2 Lessons Learned: 1. When you really commit to doing something, you CAN make time for it each day. 2. Someimes seeing yourself through another’s eyes can boost your self-confidence.
1 Goal for the Coming Week: Finish report cards by Friday.

I love that you have a Friday writing routine – routines create so much comfort!. Including 2 lessons learned = brilliant! I think I’d benefit from reflecting on my lessons learned each week.

I love how you show so much consistency in your writing life. In your weekly reflections you have a wonderful repository of memories and ideas. I’m excited for you to visit 2 National Parks! Which ones did you choose?

We are starting off in the Great Smoky Mountains and then heading to Mammoth Cave and ending at one in Ohio that we just added. It will be a great way to kick off summer. I leave the day after school ends!

A pirogi fest…I can sink my teeth into that. I like this format for a Friday because it allows you to look back at the week and see all you accomplished. Three cheers to writing 8 days straight!

You know how much I love this! I actually had it for today until I heard the wiggly toes conversation of the radio this morning! 🙂 When are you going to Mammoth Cave? That is kind of…sort of in my neck of the woods!
