Standby Supply Eases Morning Panic- SOLC Day 26

Oh no, nO, NO!!

Where is it????

Not in my front pocket…Not in my back pocket…Not in my cardigan pocket…Not in my backpack pocket…not in my coat pocket

Did I leave it at home?

When can I go check the car?

Oh, I can’t get through the day without it!- just breathe…

Oh I have 10 minutes between groups- I can make it to the car.

no, nO, NO!

Its not here either!!!

Wait, wait- check the glove box for the emergency one.

YES! YES! YES! -a lip balm!

So this was my panic on Tuesday morning. I guess I need to admit my addiction to lip balm. I was glad I found one but it was not the one I wanted. My favorite one is from Lemongrass Spa- all natural, honey and vanilla flavor. May heart rate returned to normal and I made it through the day with the emergency one from Burt’s Bees.

Anyone else care to admit to experiencing the same panic? Or the need to have multiple lip balms so you always have access to one. Come on, be honest and make me feel like I have a tribe.

  1. Love this! This is how I feel about nail files! I can’t go on with my day if there is even a slight snag in my nail so I have to have a nail file EVERYWHERE! But I also have multiple lip balms. Upstairs, downstairs, and purse. I don’t use it a ton (my lips aren’t as dry as they used to be for some reason) but when I do need it, I need it NOW! So I have to have one everywhere! I’m glad you found some!

  2. I am an old school Chapstick Cherry girl. I don’t panic about lip balm, but if I can’t find a BIC blue pen, I am rummaging through my backpack like a raccoon going through a dumpster!
