Unbelievable! Still can’t believe that I actually found this earring.
Last evening, I was grocery shopping and ran into a friend. She pointed out that I was missing an earring. I had no idea where or when I had lost it. I just assumed it was gone forever. It had no sentimental value so I was okay with losing it. It just happened to be one of my favorite pairs of earrings.
The next morning I opened my front door to pick up a package and a gold gleam caught my eye. It was my earring! It just happened to lying perfectly in the sun’s path for it to shine and catch my eye. (I don’t even remember being on my front porch the day before.) It was a godsend that I came outside at the exact moment the sun fell across the earring or else I would never have seen it. That golden gleam was contagious as it filled me with joy and light. Still can’t believe I found it- unbelieveable!

I also love stories like this. I’ve often kept lone earrings hoping their mate will return. I do that with socks too. I have better luck with earrings. Every once in awhile I will find the lost earring. I lost one earring that I had made from my mom’s beaded necklace. i was despondent and I kept the lost earring for a year. Then I was in my car a few weeks ago and reached under the seat looking for my dropped sunglasses, and lo and behold my mom’s earring appeared. I knew it was her reminding me to always hold out hope!
