5 smiles:
I wrote for all 31 days!
I know have a list of new poetry forms to try and prompts to use in my notebooking.
I made connections with others in this writing community and am so thankful for their comments and support.
I am more mindful of moments to write about that happen throughout my day from the simple and ordinary to the larger ones that grab my attention.
My writing practice became consistent and my writing has grown in many ways because of it.
4 Words:
challenging
creative
fun
community
3 future writing plans:
Join VerseLove for April and try to write as many poems as I can. (It is okay if I can’t make every day)
Continue to explore writing in other ways since nature poetry is my usual go to
Look through my collection of poetry and try to organize it in some way so I can see themes in my writing
2 Lessons Learned:
That movement helps my creativity flow- taking a walk before I try to write frees up my brain.
Even if you think you have nothing to say ,just start writing and something may rise from the scrawl ont he page.
1 Goal:
To find classes or communities to join after VerseLove so I can continue to learn and grow as a writer.
Thank you to everyone is the writing community and for wonderful month of reading, writing and inspiration!

I really enjoyed reading your reflection slice and love how this format brings out things we might not have expected when we first start writing. What a good lesson learned about what to do when we think we have nothing to write–just start writing and something will almost always happen! Thanks for the reminder about Verse Love. I think I will join too though I don’t think I plan to post daily. Like you, I’d like to find more communities to join throughout the year.

another clever way to form your writing! I will need to look into the 5,4,3,2,1 method and try it in my own writing. Thank you for sharing!

I really enjoyed reading your reflection. It shows how malleable this format is (the ability to tweak the headings) and how it really reveals experiences and goals.
