No! No! No!
I am NOT
getting sick!
Scratchy throat
Mild headache
Go away!
Off to bed
rest could cure
Hoping so!
A tricube poem written in hopes of warding off a cold. A tricube is a 3 stanza poem. Each stanza is 3 lines and each line has 3 syllables. Fingers crossed that a good night’s sleep will lessen the symptoms and I will awaken feeling better in the morning.

Hope the poem acts as medicine to ward off a cold. Plenty of rest, liquids, and reading blog posts is bound to help. Hope you’re feeling better.

After school, definitely will be having a cup of tea while wrapped in a blanket and reading blogs. I can see many comments written today.

Hope it worked! I like this format but haven’t tried it on awhile. Maybe a will construct a flower poem in this way.

Symptoms have stayed the same-so not worse which is good. I will look for your flower poem.

Oh Cathy, I do hope you feel better. This is the perfect poetry form for your ideas. I have never written one of these, so I just added it to my list of slice ideas.

What a great format for a Slice, a poem, and for casting a spell against your cold – I will definitely plan to keep this idea (and credit you for the inspo!).
