Letting go of the list of to do’s
Listening to my body’s call for rest
Leaning into the warmth of healing from the heating pad
Lifting a warm mug of chai to my lips while
Lolling wrapped in a fuzzy sherpa blanket
Lapping up the last pages of my current read
Loafing watching the first F1 race of the season with my son (virtually)
Lounging in my pj’s way past morn
Loosening muscles with restorative yoga
Lollygagging under warm soothing water and air scented with lavender
Listing today’s enjoyments as my daily post
Lauding the writing of other Slicers
Landing on the couch for a few hours lost in a Hallmark movie
Laughing at the certainty of the plot- a kiss in the last minute
Lulling myself into a late afternoon nap
Liberating myself to accept what I truly needed
Loving that I did not pressure myself to do more
Letting today be what it needed to be.

I like the L-challenge and how it organized your day, felt like a poem.

Love this (see what I did there with the L?? Lol)! Resting when you need it is so important.

This list poem bursting with ‘L’ verbs is so wonderful – it simply flows. I love the verbs ‘lolling’ and ‘lollygagging.’ A beautiful and poetic way to write one’s gratitudes. Love it!

Sounds like the perfect day, Cathy! It’s a dreary day here, and if we didn’t have to rush out to sign our tax return, do a few errands, and then go to a play (which I might have nodded off during for a just a few minutes from exhaustion, not boredom, I would have had a similar day! My husband uses lollygagging, frequently, BTW, or shillyshally dillydally. LOL!

“L” words are very generous. I’m so glad you listened.
