I RSVP’d yes to the writing party invitation from Leigh Anne Eck at A Day in the Life blog, http://adayinthelifeof19b.blogspot.com/2023/03/its-party-time-sol23.html Thank you for extending the invitation to the community.
So now I am showing up to the party in my favorite popping royal blue sweater, faded black jeans and matching blue socks. The vibrant hue of the sweater will be my inspiration to think about my best colors.
The best red is ripe raspberries ready for picking and enjoying the sweet dribbles of their juices.
The best orange is the leaves of fall fluttering in the sunshine celebrating life until the end.
The best yellow is the first daffodils of Spring opening to welcome the new season filled with hope.
The best green is moss covered rocks beside a trickling stream inviting me to sit, breathe and enjoy the peace of nature.
The best blue is the open, endless sky shared only with sunrays on glorious summer days.
The best purple is the lilacs that fill my yard as they were the flowers my parents walked through at a festival on their first date.
All together these colors are a rainbow of promise to appreciate today and hope for tomorrow.

I like this form. I like how different colors can have different meanings to all of us.

I should have known every one of your colors would be nature-inspired! I love how you pulled it all together with your last line of hope! Your writing is beautiful…as always!

Your color palate is vibrant and beautiful. Love the image and the highlighting colors in text.

You created beautiful pictures with your colors. I am not surprised that they all had to do with nature. What a beautiful rainbow of nature.

I love that rainbow! I like the specific stripes of the rainbow you found in nature. My favorite is the green mossy rocks and the peaceful sitting.
