Bravo to the Bouquet

A singular fuchsia tea rose stands center stage

As striped tiger Peruvian lilies fawn over her.

Proudly erect royal purple Chinese asters secure the perimeter,

Taming the joyous shouts of the golden florist’s daises upturned faces.

Widespread magenta mum graces the seats of the front row

As common green myrtle pushes through the crowd to have its view.

I came home to a surprise bouquet of flowers sitting on my counter. Immediately a smile spread across my face. The flowers performed well and brought joy to their audience. I applaud their work. Bravo!
