Be Like a Cupcake- March 19 SOLSC

How to be Like a Cupcake

This post was inspired by Fran Haley at https://litbitsandpieces.com/. One of her slices last week was written about If Like is a Cupcake. It just kept bouncing around in my brain so I decided to go with her inspiration.

  1. I love cupcakes, and I love your instructions on how to be like one. This is a great reminder. I love “Let your days be lip-smacking good.” I will think of this in the mornings.

    • Dear Cathleen Hutter,

Well done! I concur with kimhaynesjohnson about your poem entitled “Be Like a Cupcake- March 19 SOLSC”. What an analogy you have drawn for us so that we may imagine emulating the nature and looks of such a comfort food as a cupcake!

To resonate with your poem, here are more cupcakes for all of us with a sweet tooth to drool over:

Happy springtime and a lovely week to everybody!

PS: Try not to eat too many cupcakes at once. 🧁✧ ˚.

      • Dear Cathleen,

Thank you for your reply. I live a very full life, and time for commenting has been in very short supply, though I do my best to keep up with what others have done by visiting their blog posts. Your well-crafted poem entitled “Be Like a Cupcake- March 19 SOLSC” is too good to resist not submitting a decent comment. And here I am once again!

I can understand that the photo in my previous comment has been teasing your appetite, thus rendering you peckish, not to mention that it can be very hard to resist an eye candy such as a cupcake.

In the spirit of your post about emulating the nature and looks of some food, I would like to offer you an array of immensely tempting and mind-bogglingly presented food in one of my posts entitled “🦅 SoundEagle in Edible Art, Glorious Food and Festive Season 🍣🥗🍜🍲🍱” published at

Please enjoy and kindly let me know what you think of those dishes by leaving a comment at my said post.

More importantly, may my food offerings there inspire you to write even more food-related poems!

Wishing you a productive weekend doing or enjoying whatever that satisfies you the most, including satisfying your taste and stomach!

        Yours sincerely,
