November Tankaful Poems: Celebrating Everyday Joys

Here are my Tankaful poems for the 2nd week of November. So many small things to be thankful for that happen on ordinary days.

November 8th

Silent visitors

Buck with doe grazing in yard

Backdrop- fallen leaves

November morning- quiet, chilled

So quintessential autumn

November 9th

Drab, dreary morning

But window filled with red flare

Radiant beauty

Brightens my whole perspective

Stand proud Japanese Maple

November 10th

Seasonal magic

Raindrops merge, freeze together

Silently float down

Beautiful bonded crystals

Blanket our world in softness

November 11th

Forty-five minutes

Catching up about our lives

Hearing smiles in words

Love stretching miles over phones

Embracing us in voice hugs

November 12th

Skipping gown the hall

Giggling aloud while learning

Beaming smiles of joy

Students’ bubbling energy

Fuels my soul all day long

November 13th

Topped with white cold foam

Warm black tea, spices and milk

Pumpkin Chai Latte

Season captured in a mug

Sip-savor- autumn’s flavor

November 14th

Capturing light’s touch

Loose brushstrokes, brighter palette

Ordinary life moments

Pushed the rules of what is art

(Inspired by my walk through Frontiers of Impressionism)
