Pure beauty of self
revealed-
conforming
masquerade
ceases.
Revealed
jittery
candid
spirit-
revealed
beauty of pure self
The past 2 weeks have been filled with the glorious colors of the season- rubies, tangerines, golds, russets. Many times I have stopped in awe of the scene before me. The sun highlighting these colors to the fullest. I just needed to stop and soak it in knowing the wind will whisk it all away soon.
As I stood there, a thought floated through my mind that these are the true colors of the leaves. The green chlorophyll has faded away revealing the true colors underneath. And my are those true colors beautiful! The leaves are jittery on the wind and free from disguise. They are openly embracing their true colors and making sure the world takes notice.
Maybe nature has a lesson for us humans here- instead of showing an expected self to the world maybe we should be free from reservation and show who we really are. Then our true beauty may fill the world too.
