Tiny yellow flower blooms
Little gift of joy
While doing yoga in my backyard this morning, I arched up into Cobra pose and my eyes were at the perfect level to notice a small yellow flower. It was being overtaken by the long blades of grass that desperately need to be cut. It was alone. No other blooms nearby. Even thought it was in this wild green jungle, it was thriving. Its bright yellow color was popping through. Seeing this tiny bloom made me smile. I needed this message- even when things feel out of control, beauty can be found. Search, notice and treasure it. I am grateful for the joy this small flower added to my day.

Yellow flowers are my favorite. I love how you mix prose and poetry together!
