Aches and Pains of Pickleball

Oh, I am sooooooooo sore this morning. No one told me that playing pickleball at a 3 hour “social” would make me hurt all over the next morning. The arches of my feet, my calf muscles, my right hip, my abs, my right tricep and shoulder all simper in pain as I move them today. Well, I guess it really is a whole body workout.

Pickleball is new to me. I did have a good time playing last night and meeting new people. While I was playing, I knew I was getting a workout because I was sweating but I never thought I was pushing myself. I was totally mistaken with that thought. Yes, I Iiked the game but am seriously considering if I want to play again given the whole body soreness of today. Have to weigh the scales of fun vs. soreness to see which one will win out when I am asked to join my friend again.
