While reading through Slices over the weekend, I noticed that Book Spine Poetry had been tried in a few posts. I was at a loss for what to write about today so I was scrolling through my emails. Then ding! Why not make a poem out of the headings in my email. I decided to go with the top 8 in the list. Here they are just as they appeared.

So not a great meaningful poem by any means but it was fun to think about email in a different way. If you write one, I would encourage you to leave it in the comments.

I think I would like to try it. Another opportunity to play with words! Thanks for another idea – I love to try new scaffolds and will play with this one later today!

Very creative! I don’t know that my emails have that much variety! π I second what Lynne said, a great way to play with words. I was messing with book titles in my classroom today again! That’s one of my favorite things to do.

Cathy, you always have such clever and creative ideas. I am struggling today, too, but I am not sure I am going to have quite the same result as you.

Well, give it a try. You never know. I thought it would flop but it was fun.
