The writing group I am a part of had a writing challenge for the month of February. It was to write a Lost and Found poem. Write about an item that if seen by others in a Lost and Found would be worthless but to you is priceless. I thought about my favorite book that has been read MANY times in my life from teenage years till now. The pages are curled and a bit dirty. The cover has creases and the binding is cracking in places. I treasure this book but others may think it ready to throw out. One person’s trash is another’s treasure for sure.
