Returning to just “us”, embracing time with just each other

Sustaining through life’s seasons, functioning through trials, griefs and joys

This reflection on long-term love in a relationship was prompted by a writing prompt from Teach Write Academy. This prompt popped up after a day spent with just my husband and me. He had planned a wonderful date day before heading out of town for a day or two. We started dating at 17 and are still together. We have been married for 27 years. I am just so grateful for our love that is still strong as we have walked through much together over the years. I am very lucky to have this love in my life. My wish for all of you who readers is that you discover a love that stays evergreen in your own life.
