CM, your photo essay is amazing. The weather is so different where you are than here but I also wrote about the Winter-Spring Tug-of-War with strong winds, cold, and torrential rain.
I really enjoyed this slice! The photos were beautiful. I hope that the spring blooms all recover from the snow. I loved seeing how your notebook captured the things you had seen on your walk. The alignment between notebook and photos is a fascinating glimpse into your process.
This was such a joy to wake to this morning–especially since I don’t have to deal with the snow. I like the way you left us thinking about the last snow of the season. Around here, every snow could be the last of the season, but we don’t often consider that. Thanks!
I hope you’ll write a poem about this tug-of-war because that’s what I think of seeing your photos. I love the journal page. It’s a poem already. I want spring to win!
LOVE all of this. I appreciate you giving us a glimpse into your nature journal. Your photo essay really reflects the struggle nature and humans are having right now with the weather.

I love the picture of the line of robins. It is like they are standing guard just daring winter to encroach on their space.
